Beautiful nights-literal & figuratively

Grad night AKA Prom night.
The fateful 20th november that I was worrying so much for finally arrived. It wasn't like what I expected, not that much of the glitz and glamour like those in the American movies. Although the beautiful and gorgeous girls were definitely not missed out. Everyone looked so good , especially my beloved friends. I don't have much photos, though.

Angelyn! though this is a really bad angle whereby both our skins' look terrible

forever glamorous

and again

QOOies!

joie!
Because most are front camera pics thats why the quality is so bad. It was quite an experience I guess. Not exactly very fun but not very boring either. I had a good/bad view as I sat at a seat whereby I can't decide if I is/was a good/bad thing. A decision between to remember or to forget.

Thailand 21-25 nov!-- Where every night was such an enjoyment as much as each day was

Finally i get to redeem the chance I lost to visit Thailand when I was 'diagnosed' with chicken pox -.- Brings back FOND memories. Anyway I was super hyped up to visit Thailand as I have heard only good and better reviews and recommendations about Thailand especially from Joie! Good food and cheap shopping, what is there not to look forward to? XD

At the airport and mummy had wanted so badly for us to take a pic in the front of this somewhat bouquet of flowers. Really not a big fan of flowers

except SUNFLOWERSSSSSS!!
welcome to the untamed sunflower fields! Or maybe there just wasnt any sign of humans there.

ALPACASSSSSSSS -these beautiful docile creatures that I can admire the whole day

so that kinda sums up day 1 and 2, the rest of the trip was just shopping and walking around platinum mall, chatuchak(is that how you spell it?) MBK,siam square and the streets around our hotel. The food there was kinda like Singapore food. I tried the tomyum noodle soup there and they add milk in it so it doesnt taste like the tomyum soup we have here and as much as I wanted to have green curry and pineapple rice, like you may think going to thailand you can try the authentic one ,nope, no pineapple rice, ): BUT I had mango sticky rice and other thai desserts! Oh and we had crepes that were not ony cheap but ohgoshhhhh....YUMMMMYYYYYYY!!! its about 25-45 baht depending on the fillings so I had one banana and chocolate and another with vanilla for 25 baht each, which is about $1 only. And I had another cold crepe which had oreo, cream and strawberries! That was was a little more ex but definitely cheaper than what you get it for in singapore. I bought some clothes, not as much as some other skinny girls might, but I'm happy with what I bought :) Like the denim shorts there are only about $2 (the cheapest) and you can find interesting prints over there. Only the Thais can pull them off cos they are pretty and skinny. Met with some unfriendly taxi and tuktuk drivers but was also very blessed to meet some honest and super friendly ones. We encountered one of their demonstrations on the last day and I must say something like that will never happen in Singapore. Defintely an eye opener. There are so much more things I would wish to write it here but some things are just too difficult to put into words. Either they will seem too boring or words just cant describe these experiences. Well, holidays are one of those occasions where you will remember for life and be thankful for the time spent together with your loved ones. I am so thankful that I could go on this trip with my family as it wouldnt have been as fun without them - talking non stop to jie jie and irritating her with my poor word choices of 'cheem' words, replying daddy with the same response over and over again and laughing at mummy's tourist poses in her pictures. Of course I would love to go on a holiday with my friends too but I guess nothing beats family even though I really love my friends :)

Ok, some night flies are landing on my screen. Or are they light flies? those attracted to light?

NAMMMM....SHONEEEE
