So as you know, I'v been working at Mr Bean and most of the time, I work the night shift.
And because of that, I usually get so hungry and mouth itchy that I snack on loads of food once I get home, which is rather unhealthy...
Anyway, I've been on youtube watching youtubers like zoella,tanya burr, thatcherjoe,jim chapman etc (is that how you spell their names?) and I'm so addicted!! Not only are they so good looking and funny, their accents are realllly nice too. Do they call it the english accent? I don't know,like even when they swear it sounds so refined. Maybe I'm just biased, but how can you not fall in love with the sound of their voice when they sound like that?! If I try to speak like that over here I will be labelled as a wannabe or AA or what do ya call those peeps? haha, even if I try I won't be able to do it so I shall just stick with my Singaporean english lor,boh bian what
Just finished putting up the christmas lights and it looks gorgeoussss~ Though I dont have a good picture of it on my phone cos my phone's camera sucks. I can just stare at the tree all day. Don't you just love christmas? The joy of giving! But most importantly, it is the special day that Jesus was born. That's the true meaning of christmas.
Currently it is 3.38am in the morning (way past the usual time I sleep cos I sleep like freakin' a lot) and I'm sitting on my bed enjoying the night breeze. It gets me reflecting about certain things and has a soothing and calming effect too. Peace and quiet.
I've realised I typed things without sequence. Like the previous paragraph sometimes do not link to the next one...well I'm not too good at linking my thoughts together most of the time.
Is Frozen the movie for this festive season? I mean most people associate snow to christmas and the movie frozen was all about the cold right? Anyway I caught that movie alone the other day (I really enjoy watching movies alone actually) and I loved it ! It is so amazing! The characters are beautiful, the storyline was interesting and the songs were not too disney disney ,in fact they were quite nice! I really liked that fact that they added a biblical fact that the opposite of fear isn't courage,bravery etc, but love. Jie jie pointed that out to me and I thought that was a really good learning point. I really believe that the opposite of fear, is love.
So on this reflective night, or should I say morning, I wish everyone to spread some love and bask in the joyful season of giving! (Does that even make sense? XD sometimes when I try to sound a bit more cheem i tend to write rubbish) Anyway, goodnight and seeya soon!
