Hello everyone!
Today I stayed at home the entire day to supposedly help Jie Jie bake. Well, I will not say I was more of a hinderance than help, but I wasn't that much of a great helper either. Anyway, I must say I washed quite a lot of dishes so it wasn't too bad.
Ever since my first failed attempt at making almond pudding, I bought another one to try again. Mind you I followed the interactions of the first one EXACTLY but count me unlucky or what but it just didn't turn out the way it was. So, when I went to Giant and saw almond pudding mix again, with all excitement and vigour , I bought another one again! See, what great determination I have right? One failure won't knock me down! Anyway, guess what, my second attempt at almond pudding( with a DIFFERENT brand) FAILED AGAIN -.- It tasted gross. So you know what, I'm just gonna make my own almond pudding from scratch next time.
Back to today, I made some oreo truffles!!! They...didnt taste as good as Jie Jie and I hoped but it was ok for first attempt? Although I did needed some rescue work from Jie Jie's but I shall not believe that my truffles looked ugly. I mean it may have been tiny and puny, and maybe I did make the original truffle chocolate a little...ok fine, so I kinda made a mess out of the whole thing but it wasn't inedible so with that in mind, I shall say the oreo truffles were a success!
TADAHH!! Don't they look yummy? Well...except those two little shit lookalikes cos I was too lazy to melt another cup of chocolate coating and we ran out of oreos.
Ok, so you can clearly tell which one looks nicer but hey, give me plus points for trying ok! At least they look like something. Just in case you can't tell, and think that the on on the right looks nicer(Thank you so much) that is mine. *waves to the cheering crowd of audience*
This is the one truffle that looks like a proper truffle. But it wasn't done by me, BUT, I WILL SUCCEED.
